Today malvani is very popular language in all over maharashtra.
The great marathi actor Machindrnath Kambali spread this language around the
world. The very famous line 'Yeva konkan aplach asa!" is also in malvani.

It is spoken in the southern part of Konkan i.e. Sindhudurg
districts; chiefly in the towns of Malvan, Kudal, Kankavli, Sawantwadi and
Vengurla. It is also spoken in North Goa specially Pernem taluka. Census Board
of India counts Malvani as Konkani dialect (which is official language of State
of Goa).
